The Many Ways to Support McLean

Thanks to the generous support of our community, we are able to sustain and enhance our full line of healthcare services including home health, hospice, inpatient acute recovery care, outpatient physical therapy, skilled nursing and assisted living.

There are many ways to support the McLean mission.

We count on your support for maintaining the standards for which McLean is known.

Right now, charitable giving supports comfort and companionship through our Memory Care Volunteer program - strength, stability and confidence to regain independence - compassionate care by Hospice Volunteers - life-long learning and personal growth for campus residents - music, art and technology that uplifts and inspires - independence and quality of life through our Meals on Wheels program - and more.

Donations of all sizes, small and large, enhance quality of life, support expert and compassionate medical care, and sustain independence and quality of life.

The McLean Development Office is part of the McLean Affiliates, a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization.

McLean Social Accountability

In 2016 McLean undertook a comprehensive inventory of programs and their costs and benefits.  It was determined that in the 2016 fiscal year, the McLean Health Center activities served more than 2,443 individuals in Simsbury and the surrounding towns. The recipients of the programs and activities are served by 18,780 hours of McLean personnel which translates to a cost for personnel and benefits of $650,105.   The building usage for all the health center programs totals $54,200 and other expenses add another $1,437,373.  After excluding payments for those programs, McLean supported the programs through the health center with unreimbursed support in the amount of $2,013,598.  To read the full report please click here.
