It's a sad day when the summer blooms fade away. But not at McLean! The Robinson at McLean Assisted Living residents and Day Program clients decided to walk in the beautiful gardens on the 120 acre campus and gather the last of the blooms. They picked Hydrangeas. They rescued Lunario Anna (money plants) that had been cut and put away by the planting shed for disposal.
Resident Irene Hauser explained "We carefully and patiently dried our prizes. We also had fun decorating some vases." The consensus of the group was that the best part was making the table arrangements. They feel they are so beautiful and help to bring their favorite garden into the Robinson living room.
