McLean Hospice Volunteers Prepare Hospice Quilt of Remembrance

Gail Kostruba of Granby, CT has been a volunteer with McLean Hospice since October 2011.  As a hospice volunteer, Gail visits with patients, provides administrative support to the Hospice Team and helps with special projects such as the Hospice Quilt of Remembrance.

She is shown here with just a few of the quilt squares created by family members to honor the memory of loved ones who passed away in 2013.

Quilter and artist Dorothy Szypulski of Barkhamsted will assemble the squares into a quilt that will be unveiled at McLean in November during National Hospice and Palliative Care month.
