Six residents of McLean’s Skyview and Birch View neighborhoods, and a group of local homeschooled children, recently donated fleece blankets and a quilt, that they had collaborated on creating, to Project Linus - a non-profit organization that provides handmade blankets to critically ill children. The homeschoolers, all from Simsbury, come to McLean every Wednesday to work on craft projects and to interact with the residents.
