Support Us > Volunteering
Volunteering is all about meeting people in the community, helping those who need some extra assistance, and making new friends.
Please call Jan Peles at (860) 658-3793 to learn about how to get involved with Meals on Wheels, Groceries on Wheels or working in another way with homebound individuals, or if you are interested in helping out in the office.
McLean welcomes groups to entertain the residents or do special projects with them.
Why do I volunteer at McLean?
"I have pretty good health right now and I like to help people and brighten their day. I enjoy visiting with the people who live at McLean."
Jerry Doskos, Simsbury, CT
"I used to live at the Robinson at McLean and started volunteering then. I have been volunteering now for almost 3 years in the same department doing the same thing. The whole attitude is friendly. I get a warm feeling every week that I am there."
Jane Secor, Avon, CT
