Rehabilitation
A highly trained, dedicated and professional staff provides physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapy. The physician directed interdisciplinary rehabilitation treatment team is comprised of physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapists, a social worker, a dietician, a therapeutic recreation specialist, rehabilitation nurses, a nurse practitioner and, as needed, a geriatrician, and an audiologist. Teamwork provides positive support and consistently reinforces the individual's progress.
Therapy is tailored to each patient's needs and abilities. For patients whose strength, tolerance, or endurance is compromised, our one-on-one approach allows the patient to fully participate in his or her individualized therapy program.

Goals focus on the patient's return to the community, utilizing the adaptive skills learned. Our program involves families, so they have an understanding of the patient's progress. Families are instructed in ways to adapt their lifestyles to preserve the patient's autonomy and self-esteem.
